FIFA World Cup 2026 — Results & Schedule Guide

The FIFA World Cup 2026 runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across 16 venues in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. With 48 teams and 104 matches, this is the largest World Cup in history — and this page tracks every result and remaining fixture from the group stage through to the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The group stage runs June 11–27 and features 72 matches across 12 groups of 4. Every team plays three matches. The top two teams from each group advance automatically to the Round of 32. The eight best third-placed teams across all 12 groups also advance — meaning 32 of the 48 nations progress to the knockout stage. Teams are ranked by points, then goal difference, then goals scored in the event of a tie.

The Round of 32 — a brand new stage introduced for the 2026 edition — takes place from approximately June 29 to July 2. These 16 single-elimination matches determine who advances to the Round of 16, which runs July 4–7. After that, the quarter-finals (July 9–11), semi-finals (July 14–15), third-place match (July 18), and the World Cup Final on July 19 conclude the tournament. Extra time and penalty shootouts are used from the Round of 32 onwards if matches are level after 90 minutes.

For Arab football fans, World Cup 2026 is historic. Five Arab nations qualified: Morocco (Group C, semi-finalists at Qatar 2022), Saudi Arabia (Group H), Egypt (Group G, returning after 2018), Tunisia (Group F), and Jordan (Group J, making their historic first-ever World Cup appearance). This is the strongest Arab representation in the tournament's history. KickD's results page includes every Arab nation's matches, updated live throughout the tournament.

The title favourites heading into the knockout stages include France (defending champions), Brazil (five-time winners seeking their first title since 2002), England (with a squad built around Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden), Argentina (defending their 2022 title), and Spain and Germany. Morocco, Portugal, and the Netherlands are dark horses capable of reaching the final.
