Mexico completed a flawless group stage with a 3–0 win over Czechia at a roaring Estadio Azteca, finishing top of Group A on nine points from three matches.

Mexico completed the group stage with a perfect record, beating Czechia 3–0 at a thunderous Estadio Azteca in Mexico City to finish top of Group A on nine points.

The hosts had to be patient against a Czechia side already facing elimination, and the game remained goalless at the interval.

Mexico Pull Away After the Break

The breakthrough came on 55 minutes, Chávez García finishing Luis Romo's pass. Julián Quiñones added a second on 61 minutes from Jesús Sánchez's assist, and Álvaro Fidalgo completed the scoring deep in stoppage time, set up by Roberto Alvarado.

It was a controlled, professional night for El Tri, who never looked troubled once they found their rhythm and sent a packed Azteca home happy.

Group A Picture

Mexico finish top of Group A with a maximum nine points, a real statement of intent from the co-hosts as the knockout rounds approach. Czechia, beaten here, finish bottom on a single point and are eliminated.
